From July 2025, here’s how calling an 0300 number from Tesco Mobile may work.

When you dial a 0300 number from Tesco Mobile, how much you’re charged depends on which plan or tariff you’re on.

On a contract / inclusive-minutes plan (2025)

If you have a contract or plan with Tesco Mobile that includes calls to UK landlines (i.e., your monthly allowance covers them), then calls to 0300 numbers should be free as part of that allowance.

If you exceed your inclusive minutes, you may be charged 25 pence per minute for further calls.

On Pay As You Go (PAYG) plans (2025)

If you’re on a Pay As You Go deal, the cost depends on which specific tariff you use:

Tariff Charge for 0300 Calls
Rocket Packs / Triple Credit 25 p/min (numbersupermarket.co.uk)
Pay As You Go Lite 8 p/min (numbersupermarket.co.uk)
Pay As You Go Extra 15 p/min (numbersupermarket.co.uk)

So depending on your plan, calling an 0300 number might be treated like a normal landline call (if included) or charged at one of the PAYG rates above.

In Conclusion

  • On contract/inclusive plans, 0300 calls should be free if within your allowance; beyond that, ~ 25 p/min may apply.
  • On PAYG, it depends exactly which tariff you have: 8 p, 15 p, or 25 p per minute (per current published rates).
  • Always check your specific Tesco Mobile tariff to know how 0300 calls are handled.
