If you’ve ever wondered how much an 0330 is going to cost more to call from your O2 mobile there’s good news. 0330s are treated just like any other UK landline number (01 or 02). So, as long as your plan includes standard landline minutes, you’ll pay no extra charge.

Regulations: What you should know…
As per Ofcom’s rules:
‘Calls to numbers starting 03 must cost no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02) and must be included in inclusive minutes.’
For O2 customers that means:
- 0330 calls must count towards inclusive landline minutes (01/02) if your plan offers them.
- If you exceed your inclusive minutes (or don’t have them), you’ll pay standard landline rates – not premium ones.
- There are no extra service fees just because the number begins 0330.
Quick Recap:
On O2 in 2025:
- If you’re on a contract with inclusive landline minutes, calling a 0330 number is treated like calling any 01/02 number.
- If you’re on PAYG or out of minutes, expect to pay around 35p per minute or a similar standard landline rate.
- No hidden surcharges, no ‘premium’ billing.
