The cost of calls made to a 0872 number consist of two parts. The first part is the access charge paid to BT; the second is the service charge. It’s the organisation you’re calling who decide the service charge cost. Because of this prices will vary. When you call a 0872 number, the company providing the service must tell you the cost of the service charge before you start.
For BT’s popular call plans, calls made to a 0872 number cost:
• Landline – 12p per minute plus service charge.
• Mobile – 30p per minute plus service charge.
All costs are to the nearest penny and last at least one minute.
