An 0345 number can be bought and used by various organisations, and while it is considered a landline number it differs from ordinary 01 or 02 numbers as an 03 number has no specific geographical location associated with it. The cost of calling an 0345 is the same as calling other 01 or 02 landline numbers, which depends on many factors such as your network operator, whether you are using a landline or mobile, and the type of deal you have.
If you have a monthly allowance of minutes then the duration of your call to the 0345 number will simply be deducted from your monthly allowance. If you do not have a monthly allowance or have run out of minutes then the call to an 0345 number will be charged at your network operators per minute access charge, which again varies depending on the network operator and whether you are calling on a landline or mobile.
Calling 0345 numbers on Sky Talk – how much will it cost?
Sky Talk is purely a landline service that offers different rates for calls depending on the type of package that you have. The ‘Pay as you talk’ package is the most basic package and charges 11.5p per minute for calling an 0345 number, with a minimum charge of 11.5 pence. The ‘Evenings and weekend extra’ package charges nothing for calls made to an 0345 number between 7pm and 7am and calls that are made on a weekend. Calls outside of these times are charged at 11.5p per minute. The final two packages, ‘Sky Talk anytime extra’ and ‘Sky Talk international extra’ have calls to 0345 numbers included in the deal and so calls to an 0345 number will cost you nothing.
