Not all telephone numbers cost the same to call, and many are now free on certain mobile phone tariffs, at least within a prescribed limit.
Phone numbers that begin with 03 were originally introduced as an alternative to 08 numbers, which were more expensive. From 2015, however, 0800 numbers are free to call. 030 is the prefix for charities and non-profit organisations, but the rest are for other types of organisation.
Calls to 0333 numbers from O2 are included in your monthly call allowance, so the time will be taken off the total amount of free minutes you have every month. If you are on a tariff that gives you unlimited minutes, this means that you will not have to pay anything for calling these numbers. If you run out of free minutes, calling 0333 numbers will cost 35p per minute.
If you need to buy 0333 numbers, we have a wide range available for you and your business.
