In general, your call costs are determined by two factors: your phone service provider and whether you use a landline or mobile.
Some providers include free calls to some numbers depending on the subscriber’s call package.
If you are a BT Mobile customer, calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers are included in your allowance. Once you have used up your allowance, however, calls to any of these numbers will be chargeable.
For landline subscribers, the price of calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers will vary according to the subscriber’s call plan. Typically, calls to UK National and Local numbers (i.e. 01, 02 and 03 numbers as well as calls from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland) are charged at 11.3p per minute plus a set-up fee of 3.3p per call.
