It may cost you less than you think to call an 0330 number using your FreedomPop device. FreedomPop will let you call 0330 numbers for no extra charges than if you are calling a national telephone number such as those beginning 01 or 02. This is great news for consumers. These 03 numbers are usually used by institutions that need to use non-geographic numbers, such as banks. Traditionally these would have been 0845 premium rate numbers that would often charge the consumer significantly for their use. Many companies have made the decision to move to 03 numbers that do not lead to extra charges. If you are on a monthly contract calling the 0330 number will come off your quota of minutes for that month. If you are on a pay as you go agreement then you will be charged as if calling a normal, national number.
